I want to make authentic stories part of our daily lives.

Hi, I'm Jozie, and I’m a lifelong lover of words and stories. Words have captured me for as long as I can remember; whether they're on the pages of a book, the lines of a screenplay, or in the lyrics of a song.

As soon as I could read, I wanted to write. In the first grade, a story I wrote in class about the "Tooth Fairy Factory" found its way into our local newspaper. Knowing that words I’d crafted could resonate with others made me want to get better at bringing my imaginings to life.

My passion for writing led has placed me many educational and collaborative spheres that informed and enriched my writing; from attending a specialized writing program in high school, and more recently through an MFA program at Hollins University. Throughout my academic journey, I honed my skills and explored the boundless possibilities of story and poem making.

I believe that stories have the power to inspire, connect, and transform lives.

To me, UX Design and all that it entails is another opportunity to breathe life into my imaginings.

Here on my website I showcase my UX design work (in which I also center storytelling), and share my publications. I hope you might join me on this captivating journey of words, wonder, and making my imagination just a touch more tangible.
